We are currently in search of Architects, Architectural Project Designers, and Project Managers.
Full-time, onsite roles located in the vibrant neighborhood of Pendleton, between Cincinnati's central business district and Over-the-Rhine. We are looking for Architects, Architectural Project Designers, and Project Managers with at least 5 years of experience working within the architectural industry. Registration is not required. You will be responsible for managing projects for clients in various markets - hospitality, industrial, retail, etc.
Research, analysis, design, documentation, production, and/or leadership through all phases of design from initial client contact, programming, due diligence, schematic design, design development, construction drawings, permitting, construction administration, and post occupancy services.
Interface with any or all members of the project team on a project-by-project basis potentially including the client/owner, North Shore teammates, other design disciplines and consultants, various jurisdictional agencies, and various sub-contractors of the GC and/or owner.
Resourceful use of local, state, and federal rules, regulations, codes, and laws for application in the project design early in the design process, and throughout the project.
Preparation of conceptual design, visualization, and graphic presentation material based on the client’s needs and wants, and available information for the purpose of sales, marketing, budgeting, financing, and/or client approval using all tools available.
Preparation of construction documents for bidding, permitting, and construction that meet the expectations for quality and accuracy, including coordination with in-house resources, and outside disciplines.
Resourceful use of product manufacturers, representatives, installers, contractors, and other resources to select, specify, detail, and implement products and materials for projects.
Leadership to manage assigned projects and resources to meet project objectives, deliverables, schedules, and quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
5+ years of experience in architecture, architectural design, or project management
Strong technical knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino
Ability to be flexible and adapt to evolving project types, workload, roles and situations
Ability to develop solutions and the wisdom to know when to seek support
Ability to manage and maintain your own time and workload and to prioritize projects and needs for efficient delivery
Must be resourceful, diligent, positive & flexible
Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and achieving project objectives
Familiarity with local and national building codes and regulations
Problem solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions for complex design challenges
Experience in commercial projects
