Freestore Foodbank Distribution Center

North Shore Construction & Development Services served as the Owner’s Representative Project Manager Consultant for Freestore Foodbank. This nearly 200,000 sf facility serves as Freestore’s hub for serving over 33 million meals each year to those in need in over 20 counties in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, including food kitchens, homeless shelters, emergency food pantries, social service centers, and program sites.

The distribution center houses over 20,000 sf cold storage, 20,000 sf freezer storage, over 90,000 sf warehouse, professional training kitchen, training and meeting rooms, 20,000 sf office space, corporate fitness center, staff kitchen and cafe. North Shore served as the primary entity responsible to the client for the following:
